We've been having light intermittent snow since 6pm, with the temperature around 1C. Just starting to lie of car roofs.

According to the radar its snowing on Dartmoor and in quite a few places around the UK I think there might be a few surprises when people wake up this morning. Mild by comparison here by the water at 6c.

Overnight 'low' of 1.2c and currently 2.6c with very heavy rain...if I squint and stare at the lamp long enough I think I see the odd flake...does that constitute sleet?

Fine and clear as last night's rain move onto the French coast. Juuuuuuuuuuuuust about managing a last minute bit of icing over as temperatures are still falling down to the current level of 2.5 C but the sun will see to that very soon.

As for the snow thing, non existent at this end - even stayed as rain over them thar hills last night, an area that normally manage something under a marginal type set up.
