Temperature finally falling here and a slight frost already forming at 1.5c after rising to 3.7c earlier until 12am.

1.7 c here in north northumberland. Daft when you consider we've a snow cover and clear skies. Hit a high of 2.7 under cloud in the evening, fell back to 1.1 at midnight before that wind got up again.

Over night high of 4c!? Currently 3c and still no air frost still this winter. Not sure why we didn't have an air frost as it was clear. Overnight tonight it's meant to go down to -3c so may finally see one 😃

A fair start to the day with some sunshine. Frost is still hanging around in the shade even though it's now 9.30 am. Winter has arrived, next step is to actually get to see the first snowflakes of the season which MAY occur tonight if I'm lucky enough.

1.6 C currently after a low of 0.5 C at 6 am. Feeling parky in the north west breeze.

It only briefly went below freezing around dawn due to onshore wind but no obvious thawing due to low ground temperatures.
It's about 1C now and bright sky rather than blue.

1.6c high cloud light wind, looking outside and the satellite images the cloud to the east seems to be dissipating as it spreads down from the NNW.
