It was suppossed to be clear blue sky all day but some high cloud and some lower level cloud have spoilt that. Its a beautiful bright day though but it would have felt spring like in the non existent wind. We did get down to 3c after the 4c I posted at 5:30 this morning, currently 8c.

I have a feling today wont be our day, despite any intensity.  The boundary between cold/warm is very abrupt, with being on the milder side being no snow potential at all.

Crisp sunshine and thin patchy cloud, but bright. reached 4C but dropped below 4 now; even in the shade the frost has gone from the lawn but the puddles & pond remain iced over.

A fair start to the day with some sunshine. Frost is still hanging around in the shade even though it's now 9.30 am. Winter has arrived, next step is to actually get to see the first snowflakes of the season which MAY occur tonight if I'm lucky enough.

1.6 C currently after a low of 0.5 C at 6 am. Feeling parky in the north west breeze.

Good luck! Shades of light grey here but dry so far - tho' the radar would disagree! the precip. must not be making it to ground level here atm. Calm, 3.4 C @ 89% RH and pressure is steady @ 1028mb. Some slight frost still on the lawn in places
