Temp hovering around zero this morning, driveway and car were damp as frost had melted slightly. Odd thing was, however, as I drove up my road, after approximately 20 metres, it became thick with frost. At this point, the cars were all still frost covered and the frost was so thick on the grass it looked like snow, it was almost rime like.
Any ideas why this might be? There was a clear dividing line between the section of the road I am on where the frost had lifted (not on grass, cars, roads etc.), yet only 20 metres up the road it was thick, a winter wonderland...........bizarre.
