If it makes the fans of Manchester's only major club feel better, well that's fine by me. They probably need to spend about £250m on their defence alone.

Clearly, Chelsea and Man United will care, if only because it demonstrates yet again that Arab sheikhs have bigger todgers than Russian or American crooks.

Saying that, the EPL is different to anything he'll have managed in before.

I think Pellegrini has handled the whole saga very well. He's got the third best win percentage of any manager to have been in charge for at least 50 games in the Premier League.

Man Utd would be best getting Mourinho or Simeone for next season, IMO

Meanwhile Watford are doing a loan version of Inception...

The Watford-Granada-Udinese triangle coughs up another baffling move as striker Adalberto Peñaranda joins the Hornets.

Except he's going back on loan to Granada, where he is now on loan - from Udinese.

Superb set of results tonight. Norwich put in further trouble, Bournemouth beat Palace. Woolwich drawing at home.

Kane unlucky tonight. Got two goals, but also hit the post; twice.

With Vardy and Kane scoring for fun will Woy have the balls to dispense with Wooney? I wouldn't bet the house and the dog on it.

Good from Spurs again tonight and just watched highlights of the City game in which they were totally outplayed by Sunderland! Still think Leicester have a greet chance, their fans mut be really pinching themselves. As for Spurs, I can't quite bring myself to accept that we have just as good a chance as anyone else in the top 5!
