Still think Leicester have a greet chance, their fans mut be really pinching themselves.

Think it's safe to say you can count us out of top-4 contention for certain now

Meanwhile, target-of-several-Prem-teams Jackson Martinez has left Atletico for Chinese team Guangzhou for £31m.

Blimey, there's some dosh available over there as the Chinese try to lift their league from being a Mickey Mouse competition.

Another great win and performance by the cherries last night

Rekon we have a good chance against arsenal on Saturday,Bournemouth will throw the kitchen sink at them and the small compact ground that is Dean Court will be alien to many arsenal players. Iam much more confident of us staying up now. Afobe is proving to be a very good signing by EH and scoring some crucial goals giving us a much more potent strike force.

As for the title it would be great for the game if Leicester won the PL and am sure every neutral wants them to do it.They have a team spirit and desire about them that no other top four side has. However I have a sneaking feeling spurs are going to be champions, they are hitting top form at the right time and Kane and Ali are on fire.I think the announcements at City will have a destabalising effect plus being involved in all other competitions could be too much! They need Kompany back to have a real chance. As for arsenal,I still think they look mentally fragile and the hunger isn`t there, top four yes, champions no!

7 points clear of the drop zone for us now,  with Newcastle's defeat.

Arsenal on Sunday is a free hit.

We will probably lose - they have the players to seriously tear us a new one if they hit any kind of form.

We're not under too much pressure of desperately needing a result. Much easier opportunities for getting the 12 or so points we need to be safe.

Anything we can get out of the Gooners would be a bonus.

If Bournemouth can get a couple of wins in the upcoming games they could be safe by the end of the month.

Doh, just seen the post above.

Anyway, Bournemouth deserve to stay up, given they've been decimated by injuries this season.

Bournemouth deserve to stay up if only for playing good football & keeping to their footballing principles.

I'd laugh my socks off if Newcastle got relegated just as that tw*t Ashley finally opens his wallet, and just before the Premier League cash bonanza kicks in. Please make this happen.

Of the other relegation places to be filled you'd have to say any two from Sunderland, Newcastle, Norwich and Swansea.

Mind you, it would be amusing watching Pardiola potentially getting sucked in, as well as 'Hoofball' Pulis.

In the meantime, a Bournemouth win over Woolwich this weekend would be useful in more ways than one.

He seems out of his depth as a manager. Early days of course, but considering he doesn't want to be a manager, it was a stupid decision all round to bring him in.

Alex Teixera off to China for £40m (and €10m/year).

I think we can see what motivates this guy, and it's not football. I'm sure growing up on the mean streets of Brazil he dreamt of winning the Chinese League...

I think Liverpool dodged a bullet. Would have been nice to pick him up for a reasonable outlay, but glad we didn't overpay for someone who presumably would be most focused on securing the next pay rise.

And good luck with that pollution

In other news from the Liverpool soap opera, it's being reported that Sturridge wants out for being criticised for missing most of the last 2 seasons (when Liverpool really needed him) through a succession of injuries.

Bless.

As for Sturridge, who is going to take a punt on him, given his woeful injury record?
