While indeed the wind has been packing a punch for most of today at this end, thankfully there has been remarkably little rain, apart from a blink & you'd miss it passing blustery shower at about 5 pm. Seems that the Folkestone Rain Deflector has been very efficient today, a shame it hadn't worked on the winds. The wind is now throttling back as I type.
Still a little gusty here from time to time. strongest gust recorded here today was at 15.07 of 39.6mph, in the last hour 23.2mph has been the strongest.
Thankfully today has been drier, just a couple of showers this afternoon.
Just been out nailing the felt back on the shed roof. Thanks Imogen

Horrible 24 hours in my neck of the wood. Wet, squally, the odd crack of thunder, and with some vicious gusts of wind. Not a great nights sleep as a result last night, hoping for better tonight! Getting really fed up with this type of weather now and I normally like a dramatic wet and windy storm!
Idiot, she could have paid the ultimate price for her stupidity. When will people learn!
