7.5c and rising ahead of the next system. - Here we go... YET AGAIN!!  Deja-vu. With temperatures rising during the night-time. Not that it matters. But it's now milder than it was earlier today.

Just below freezing on and off overnight with low of -0.6C, it's +0.4C now with snow flurries.
A few flakes are visible on the ground which is below freezing. Still almost dead calm with light easterly drift.

Dull and it's only just started spitting lightly, but what is of note is the fresh easterly wind making my east-facing bathroom feel like the front porch of an igloo. The kind of morning where it is taking a while for the central heating to warm up the house.

4.7 C with 79% humidity but feels like -120 C in that wind. A shame that on the surface level this does look like the perfect set up for wintry weather but conditions aloft doesn't seem quite so conductive.

Drove to Cheesefoot Head a short while ago as it's 3C mank here. Heavy sleet, almost horizontal in a fresh Easterly. Down in Beauworth and up to Millbarrow and there was wet snow mixed in- could see it here in the air, whereas at Cheesefoot it was only the icy splats on the windscreen that gave the game away. Below 2C on top.

Sleety rain here with the odd brief burst of wet snow mixed in - temp slowly falling, currently 2.7C.

Not very pleasant!
