Despite the cold start and bitter wind it is thawing slightly now.Snow just slid off the back roof with the usual somewhat alarming scraping crashing sound.

The lightest of rain showers fell at 6am as the NE'ly died before a fine and sunny day with a little patchy cumulus. Max temperature was 7.9c after an overnight low of 2.1c.
Currently Clear spells and 4.2c, dewpoint has fallen to -1.3c thanks to a continental feed.
