After a very cold frosty night with a low of -5.2, it was partly cloudy this morning, but amazingly pretty with frost on grass, hedges, small trees, amazing.

Cloudy has thickened to produce a snow shower for the last 30 minutes, just about over now. Now we have a dusting of snow and graupel on the ground which tops it off nicely - thanks very much!!

Currently -1.2C.

BBC Forecasts last night for here..."A clear frosty night"....It was cloudy all night. BBC Forecast this morning for here..."Sunny and frosty" It's Cloudy as far as the eye can see and the satellite image shows widespread cloud!!!!

It was a mix of snow and soft hail. Lasted 15 mins and was very light so only settled on exposed mud areas and my hair. Now clear skies with hardly a cloud to be seen 1.1c
