Fairly bright in a hazy kind of way as the dry and benign theme continues. It does feel somewhat chilly too at 5.5 C and the 59% humidity is indicative of a continental airflow in progress. However, it seems that a frost hadn't taken a hold last night - at least not here on the coastal edge.

Only down to +0.5C at about 6am, there's a fairly solid but bright cloud layer and wind is now in the SE

A little bit of interesting weather observation here at Folkestone, the brisk south east breeze is keeping temperatures at 6.2 C, but the 47% humidity has brought the dewpoint down to -4.2 C. A real continental feel, that explains why it felt raw cold when I popped out to put the cat's doings in the bin.
And that really sets the general theme for this weekend, dry and cloudy but feeling raw cold even though temperatures are well above freezing.

It's currently 5.6c and has been for hours but the dewpoint that hung around +1c started to fall after 4pm as the continental ESE'ly kicked in. Current dewpoint is -3.1c.
