Hi, Ian! Been dry here since my earlier post; sunny intervals and light winds. Temp. is dropping away now, it's 4.3 C @ 63% RH A back-loaded Winter or a front-loaded Spring

Rather nice late winter afternoon with snow flurries fluttering down on and off, at 1.2C now.
No real substance but very pretty. Very little wind so it doesn't feel particularly cold.

Got a decent covering of hail and snow earlier. Temp fell from 4.5C to 0.9C but has since recovered slightly since the showers have stopped. Or rather shifted in placement to run n/w - s/e just to the NE of here. Don't think the wind is due to veer NElry so the showers in the north Sea won't be of any use. Not sure if they'll be much more here overnight. So the fun might now be all over. 1.3c with the odd spit of wet stuff in the air and the familar drip drip sound of dying snow /hail.

Thanks for the heads-up  An increase in cloud here now so nothing seen and we have the town just to our North which adds to light-pollution. Temp. has risen to -0.9 C @ 75% RH 

Max was only 4.0C, which really is exceptional for a day with over 9hrs sun at this time of year. Even 10 years ago when we had a foot of snow the very sunny day of 6th March reached 4.4C. Obviously there were no sunny days in the horror show that was March 2013 so nothing to compare with from that month.

Is this a concession to winter 2016? There was worse? Out of character Rich.
