A fine and sunny afternoon. However the easterly breeze is keeping temperatures pinned down at 7.5 C and have got the central heating on for mother's benefit, but I felt warm when I did some work in my sheltered west-facing front garden and that solar input will keep the front part of the house toasty warm this afternoon.

EDIT: Actually, the sun is starting to hide behind partial low cloud rolling in from the North Sea.

Sunny. Long Shadows. Hazy hills . Cool in the lanes. Temperature now 8.5c. Warmer in the shed by 1.2c.

Was hazy sun during the morning but now cloud has invaded and it is mostly overcast yet again It was 10C colder last Sunday but at least it was sunny with blue skies. Miles better than this rubbish

Unfortunately it was always going to be that way based on data and the forecasts which is why I headed to Haddo for the afternoon. If it's any consolation we could clearly see the edge of the cloud affecting Aberdeen and its environs.
