Interestingly the sea temp in the Bay is currently 11.2c last years average for April was 9.3c. Last years March average was 6.2c but this year it was 9.1c. So we are getting off to a good start in 2016.

After what has been a lovely day with plenty of sunshine, it has become overcast. It looks like this increased cloud is the result of outflow from a nearby thunderstorm over Canterbury.
