The very leading edge of the stratsocumulus is just arriving here but quite broken so the sun is still shining through at the moment. I think that cloud type is too high to be influenced by the obligatory afternoon onshore coastal breeze, which does have a tendency to nudge low cumulus further inland at this end.
There is also a brisk south westerly breeze which is doing an excellent job in drying out the top soil and is now bone dry where I'd never thought we had 12 mm of rain only the other day.
