After a rather moist start due to overnight showers, it has been a fair morning with some sunny breaks and partial cloud but now cloud is filling in the sky to make it more overcast.

Afternoon John! It became quite gloomy by around mid-day and it did look like it was going to pour down which made me feel nervous for my own forecast as I "promised" someone that it'll stay dry all day for her very important line washing. Thankfully it never did rain and even brightened up with hazy sun as we went onto the afternoon. It's still quite bright right now but in a milky photography studio kind of way.

First rain since 2nd May this afternoon - only 0.6mm though bringing monthly total to 2.8mm!

We have just lost the evening sunshine in the garden.  A dry day after 7am with cloud that broke later to reveal sunny spells.


A high of 16.5 @ 2.54 on the Davis VP2.


Currently 13.1 as the temperature falls away and the SW wind strengthens.

Dover, 5m asl. Half a mile from the south coast.

 My Jet, now over 2 years old, has a habit of slowly creeping out of the shadows and scaring the bejesus of me while I'm in my hobby room.






PS: It's now clouded over but the rain appears to be avoiding us. 13.1 C.
