EDIT: Ian et al must be getting quite a show over the channel - what an active storm that is!

Some chance of thunder again tomorrow.
Not sunny. Gone cloudy. Settled fine but feeling fresh.
Loud thunder here in Harpenden
Thunder here in Berkhamsted.
Had a storm over Epsom area in the evening and saw ball lightning when I was on the way out back to Langley, this happened near A240 road to Tolworth. It stayed there for a long time as the shower cell seem not to moved much so local Epsom weather station recorded 17.7mm of rain while nothing at Chessington as it was under clear skies.
First thunderstorm of the year even so the temperatures wasn't hot enough to generate it.
Just had a heavy shower (3mm) with a couple of flashes and claps here in Kilmersdon. I can confirm that the showers are developing strongly and moving very slowly NNE across us.
1 clap of thunder and 1 flash of lightening. 2.4mm precipitation. Humidity 83% and rising. Valley and hills covered in mist.
Another storm developing over me here in Kilmersdon with hail this time
It's really interesting watching the towering Cumuus pile up from the South to ripen over us here before trundling North towards Bath.
Heavy downpour here... No hail.

OSM App only shows a small cluster of clouds.
Yes all down to a convergence zone and for once we were in the sweet spot. Guessed it is not widespread because of lack of reports from elsewhere in here.
Dying down now and easing away North now as the heat of the day is being lost. or maybe not. Was that thunder I heard again to the SW.
