After a fine and sunny start, fairweather cumulus are filling in some of the sky. Still bright and dry, though.

Excuse rant, but as usual the BBC forecast was for a max of 13c (presumably based around the Langdon Bay concept).

Fairly typically, the max was around 3c higher in locations not 400ft up on a headland clifftop, such as at my station where we had a max of 15.7c at 1441hrs recorded on the faithful and accurate VP2. Currently 12.1c. Rain - nil and 36mm for the month.

Vantage Vue back from the place of purchase and has since been repaired. Max today 15.5c. Yet again the later afternoon has been different as colder air swept in on more of a breeze followed by cloudy skies. Temp currently 10.3c.

Starting to feel properly fresh at this end, but still quite bright. The brisk north east wind is making the current 11.8 C feel airy . . . should be a comfortable night's sleep tonight where I won't be sweating like a nun on a car bonnet.
