It's still damp and cloudy at this end, along with the wind coming in from the north west. 12 C doesn't sound impressively cold but it's now 9 am and it really does feel like a typical October's day rather than a high summer's day!
Hopefully it won't be long before the sun does come out and get to work on things . . . at least before the afternoon showers has a chance to get going.

Supposed to be coastal showers later today, but hoping they stay away as we have hay cut again.
After that we may stay dry for several days with luck.
