For years I have been using the Historical Synoptic Charts (MetO Fax Charts) available on the Wetterzentrale site, but recently these are not available although the date search button is still in place.

This is the link to the site I was using:  http://old.wetterzentrale.de/topkarten/tkfaxbraar.htm  you will see what happens if you use the pull down buttons to select a date.

This is a real nuisance as its an excellent way of looking at Synoptic Charts for the previous month and historically.

Does anyone know a fix for this problem or another site where I might find recently archived Synoptic Charts?

Yeah WZ seems a bit fecked up lately.

This site has archive FAX charts, in handy 6 hr increments, but only goes back to 2006, and while not ideal, is still better than a slap of a wet fish straight into the nuts:
