Not surprised to see the CET anomaly changing like that - my simple mean temperature yesterday was 20.6c    (although Pershores was about 1c lower)

July has started off very cool here too, with the average temperature for the first nine days set at 15.05C. Some of the last few mild nights have helped it to recover slightly though.

Finally up to a zero anomaly due the past few days being above average, although day time temps have been nothing special.  It was night temps that kept the CET up in June. A trend for the whole summer?

Glad we're looking forward to a complete repolarization of the temperature change over the next week. I expect at least 16.2 by the end of the next week and a slow rise thereafter.

The air has certainly warmed here from late yesterday evening with a muggy night and warmer today but no sunshine. I need it to improve for a 16.8c finish.

So come on then- the site that is famed for opinion- who's going to pop a head above the parapet and prophesise an adjusted (or not) CET?

I reckon mine is still feasible.

I'm surprised it rose almost a full degree between 18th and 19th but has hardly risen since. Maybe that was an adjustment.

[edit] looking at the anomalies and the netweather and metcheck figures. I wonder if there's a rogue zero in the Hadley figure?  Should the figure to the 20th be 16.7c?
