Mostly sunny with variable high cloud. Bits of low cloud (sea mist?) are trying to run in from the Channel but they don't look like they'll last that long.

Feeling warm even though it is "only" 19 C.

Strange weather this afternoon. Very warm (nudging 29) and there's a lot of blue in the sky - I'd say it's around 4 Octas. But the sun has been behind clouds for almost the whole of the last hour. Presumably that means somewhere close by has been in constant sunshine.

Got above 25 but the air lacked that thick, humid quality despite the unbroken sunshine- in fact the temps were highest when there was quite a lot of cloud. Now below 24C.

Lovely evening, just lovely. How much better life would be if we had a mildish Mediterranean climate. That what this evening is - like coastal California or Northern Portugal. Gentle breeze, blue sky, warm but not hot.
