Yes it seems quite active along that feature moving NEwards over northern Scotland. Don't think we'll see much apart from heavy rain later youth.

I saw a few flashes of lightning to the north last night. Must have been the Elgin storms.

Seems like the areas of the country with the least thunder on average have gotten the most storms this year. Absolutely nothing here all year.

Just having a very compact thunderstorm here! Not forecast as far as I know but now getting quite close. Unexpected but good non the less!

I saw one big flash of lightning from a cell to the north (Reading area) around 9pm last night. Quite unexpected.
