I think there should be a rule that anyone posting in the current conditions thread should either have a signature with location in it, or mention the location in the post.

"Hot morning here, 45C" is meaningless unless you add "in Kuwait" etc.

I'm in Wetherby for the weekend. It's chilly, I'm not used to this. 12C despite hazy sun.

we seemed to ave missed any rain today in central and southern Hampshire , despite being in the firing line, not even a sprinkle.which was lucky as we had a barbecue  Stlll very warm and muggy at 19 deg c with clear spells  which meant it was one of those rare nights you could stay out  in the garden as late as this drinking and eating Mediterranean style - I see tomorrow the showers are forecast to have another go.
