Thanks once again Gav. So to cap it all a relatively dryish Autumn and maybe a milder than average November to start off with and turning more unsettled with the possibilitly of  more colder incursions late on. I did like the analogue comparing it to the Autmn of 78. 😃

Yes! That Links page is fantastic. I had about 20% of them scattered all over my Bookmarks previously. So helpful to have them all, and more, on one page. Just got into the habit during spring and summer of usually simply waiting for your interpretation each week, but with the "exciting" season approaching I'll be using that page a whole lot more.

He is announcing that he is going to massively reduce his workload as age begins to catch up with him.

So this will be his final week ahead forecast and he is also stopping the mid month to mid month forecast as well.

Fortunately for all of us he is going to continue the month ahead forecast at the start of every month for the time being.

Loved that 09/10 winter - history and those cold charts - I remember it very well. Would you be doing one for December 2010? That was colder surely!? Would love to have seen those bitterly cold charts for December 2010!?
