Ditto with the temperature and breeze! Not quite so humid here @ 72%, so the washing is drying slowly and I've managed to get the front lawn cut as that's more open than the sheltered back one.

Overcast, there were a few slivers of blue sky earlier.

The record has definitely been broken here. No mention yet from the met office or bbc.

A steamy night tonight with overcast skies 25C all day and 21C now with the thermometer jammed on 21C.

A max temperature of 23.9c on a day when the relative humidity never dropped below 79%.

An incredibly humid and sultry day with a dewpoints again sitting in what is becoming increasingly common territory (between 20-21c !).

19C now after a 23.8C day with not a gimmer of direct sun. Not bad- all contributes to a warm first half of Sep. Hard to do that temp overcast in July.

Temp was 21C at 6am this morning under cloudy skies. Around 9am when the sun came out the humidity was crazy. Felt like I was in the Carribean. I was dripping from just walking the dog. Funny how much this impacts the feel of things.
