 It's 27.5 C here on the coastal edge, but the 50% humidity is making it just about bearable. On days like this, I sure as heck don't miss working under glass.

It's clouded over here, but very muggy with a temp at 23c and 17c dp.


35 miles west at Liverpool Airport, temp is down at 19c (but still the dp at 17c)


Big band of convective crap headed this way - already over Liverpool. Damn. Could have done with it being dry (halfway through a gazebo build & I've left my OSB3 uncovered )

Temperature is still rising here at Folkestone with the afternoon sun beaming away, 28.2 C and the sensor is well in the shade now. But at least humidity is kept being low at 50%.

Temperatures falling here! It's gone from a max. of 23.8 C  a few hours ago to 21 C atm. The earlier murky, thundery skies have given way sunny intervals and winds are light 'n' variable. I see Cambridge is at 32 C .. Glad I didn't have to move down there!!

Hi John! I've got fans whirring away and windows wide open to try and at least keep the house aired out as much as I can as the sun swings around to the front of the house at about now. The saving grace is that the sun sets at something like 7.30 pm as the darker nights draw in but it's still going to be a close and muggy night tonight anyway.

I can imagine Retron cursing the 20 C at the 850 hpa level.
