Dull and overcast and it is damp from recent rain. 17.2 C with a very moist 97% humidity.

In fact, it is raining lightly again as I type. The lawn does need it, though.

Actually, going by the radars, the Folkestone Shield is continuing to be effective anyway as there does appear to be quite moderate rain over North Kent as well as over the French Coast but here at Folkestone it's just the usual very light spitty stuff. There is a risk of a localised downpour in the afternoon, though (the NAE wants to give this end of Kent up to 20 mm before the day is out, I think that might be overcooking things again).
But summer-like conditions will return tomorrow - if only for a short time before it goes all cloudy and wet again on Saturday.

A very dark morning today, felt like winter (apart from the temperature!). A very muggy start with heavy rain, hopefully it will burn off!

Brightening up now. Also feeling quite muggy even though the air temperature is "only" 19.5 C. With the humidity at 92% and winds being very light it's hardly surprising.
