Breeze increasing, rain not too far away.  some lively radar returns just west of Guernsey, through to south dorset.
Just been to check VP2 rain funnel for debris, all clear but looked like a false widow spider on the shield. It scurried, if thats the right word, back into the housing.

Observations between 9 pm last night and 7 pm currently.

LAST NIGHT: Clear breaks and variable cloud cover.
THIS MORNING: After a colourful start to the morning thanks to a lucozade colour sunrise, it lead to a mostly cloudy morning with the occasional bright spells. Rather breezy.
THIS AFTERNOON: Mostly cloudy, light spitty rain from time to time. Windy.
CURRENT: Cloudy with light rain, quite windy.     16.6 C.       90% humidity.       Dewpoint: 15.0 C.          Strong south winds.          Falling slowly to 997.1 mb.

WINDS: Fresh to strong south the whole time.
AIR QUALITY: Excellent, fresh and airy.
VISIBILITY: Very good.
COMFORT FACTOR: Continuing quite mild and muggy despite the fresh wind (still no need to have the heating on). The wind even had that effect of shifting the dampness quite easily as it stayed dry for most of the time (even with the spitty rain in the air).
RAINFALL (In mm):    Trace.
TEMPERATURES (in C):        Max: 17.4 at 2.45 pm.           Min: 15.8 at 12.30 am last night.
PRESSURE (in mb):         Max: 1005.8 at 9.30 pm last night.         Min: 996.4 at 6.15 pm.
