After the warmest October for the CET on record, there was a shock when a week into the following November, there was an early season wintry blast that brought snowfalls to parts of the east. Some places saw
lying snow.

Remember it well, got home about 8pm and it was raining then happened to look outside at 9pm and everywhere was white with 2cms of snow. Depth reached 3cms which stayed on the ground the next day under bright sunshine......lovely.
