Fine, clear and sunny but a frost did not take a hold at my coastal location as temperatures didn't get any lower than 5.0 C at 6 am despite clear skies all night last night. May be due to light winds wafting in from what is still a mild Channel.

Current temp 6.3 C with 93% humidity.

Blizzard developing this afternoon.

This is a warning that blizzard conditions with near-zero visibilities are expected or occurring in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..listen for updated statements.

 A developing weather system will bring snow along with strengthening winds this afternoon to the Northern Yukon.
Strong westerly winds gusting at times to 70 km/h will combine with the newly fallen snow to give reduced visibilities in blowing snow to Old Crow from this afternoon through Thursday afternoon.

Along the Dempster Highway strong westerly winds will develop this afternoon generating localized blowing snow. Heavy snow is expected to begin tonight and will combine with the wind to produce blizzard conditions through Thursday evening. http://weather.gc.ca/warnings/report_e.html?yt2

Observations between 7 pm last night and 7.30 pm currently.

LAST NIGHT: Clear, which enabled a frost to set in away from the coast (but none was observed here at my harbour location).
THIS MORNING: Unbroken sunshine.
THIS AFTERNOON: A bit more in the way of variable cloud amounts but it was still quite sunny. It did give off a decent coloured sunrise.
CURRENT: Clear, although high cloud is having the effect of making the moon appear hazy.      6.9 C.        84 humidity.        Dewpoint: 4.4 C.        Light south west winds.         Falling slowly to 1028.3 mb.

WINDS: Light north west last night and into this morning, then calm in afternoon.
AIR QUALITY: Excellent, especially this morning.
VISIBILITY: Stunning.
COMFORT FACTOR: Quite chilly at first but was able to extract some pleasant mildness in the mid-day sunshine. Because it became drier (as it can be for November), it made for a better line washing day as well as having made it easy for my bro in law to get onto the roof to fix the leak!
RAINFALL (in mm): Nil!
