Very cold light rain - it's 1.7C with a dewpoint of -3C and, I admit, I was hoping for just a little sleetiness. There's none whatsoever.

The overnight low was -1.5C which is the second air frost and the coldest of the season so far.

Hi Darren. I had a call from my cooleague saying there was sleet and some wet snow falling at the top of Bluebell Hill.

Dull and damp with light rain. Also cold at 2.2 C but is rising fairly quickly.

I did wake up at 6 am to what is my first sighting of a proper air frost - yes, even here at my coastal location - as temperatures got down to as low as -1.1 C at 5 am. Also got to see a pretty coloured sunrise as this thumbnail type image shows.




EDIT: Five minutes later, and it's now 3.4 C as this "warm sector" moves over us.
