A cold start with snow on the ground to sea level widely across Skye. A covering here but it look like about 3 - 5cms on the ground in Portree. Temps at or near freezing with lows generally of around -1C overnight. Calm with broken cloud and a few wintry showers. All change in 24 hours...booooo
