That's a good indication of this winter really - and when you think how much further to the east Denmark is.


In fact going much further east I've noticed Moscow has had daytime temperatures not much below 0C.


At this time of year its usually -10C or lower in Moscow - this year its been 1c 0c or -1C or -2C - nothing special at all.

Observations between 8 pm last night and 6.15 pm currently.

LAST NIGHT: Cloudy and breezy, then the cloud became thick enough to produce some rain in the small hours.
THIS MORNING: Sunny spells and partial cloud cover.
THIS AFTERNOON: Bright at times, rather more in the way of cloud amounts later on in the afternoon.
CURRENT: Partial cloud cover, some clear breaks.       9.7 C.         79% humidity.          Dewpoint: 6.2 C.          Fresh south winds.        Falling to 1003.3 mb.

WINDS: Fresh south west last night then it was mostly light to moderate during the day.
AIR QUALITY: Superb, very clean and fresh.
VISIBILITY: Very good for most of the time.
COMFORT FACTOR: Wet last night, then things dried up during the day. It felt cool and fresh in the breeze but pleasantly mild in direct sunlight when in south-facing sheltered areas.
RAINFALL (in mm):  1.5
TEMPERATURES (in C):       Max: 9.5 at 1.30 pm.        Min: 6.2 at 5.30 am.
PRESSURE (in mb):          Max: 1010.2 at 8 pm last night.          Min: 1003.3 currently.
