I know someone has posted a load of old bbc weather forecasts from around 1993 onwards

It would be great if anyone has any recordings of forecasts from say 1976 to 1985 with the magnetic symbols etc

Like classic winter of 1978-79, 1981-1982 etc

If you type "Old BBC forecasts" in Youtube's search, it'll show a fair number of videos showing the classic magnetic symbols put up by other people other than Mr Data (Kevin). 
   Perhaps refining the search (type in "Old BBC forecasts 1985") may narrow things down and give you the results you want.

I have had a look on youtube - there are not that many forecasts from these years

I would have thought some would have forecasts on their video tape - looks like no one

Sometimes you have to look outside the box.

BBC news or continuity sometimes contains forecasts if you put that in the search engine.

Someone uploaded the Saturday extended news of the Zeebrugge disaster. At 33.40 is the snowy forecast for that day. I remember it well I was building a snowman that afternoon!
