Just had a torrential downpour here at Elborough near Weston Super Mare.  Quite a surprise.  Heavy bit only lasted 5 minutes but still raining steadily.

It is raining - as forecasted, but mustn't get too worked up as our weather has been on it's best behaviour since the big wind last Friday and even now at least the wind itself appears to be quite calm at the moment. Am expecting the sun to break through in about an hour or two - and it is nice whenever the sun does stay out for long enough what with the sun climbing higher above the horizon by the day.

10.1 C with 94% humidity. Certainly making it easy to keep the house warm for mother.

On the whole, this winter has effectively "broken" me and found myself not really wanting to post in here as much as I used to.
