Oh dear!  Where is Marc?  After last month's success he should have been the first poster. Anyway, I'm very pleased to see Gooner made an entry!  He's my only chance of keeping off the bottom rung.

The first 15*C snuk in early this month, occuring on the 5th - in fact the mercury climbed all the way to 15.5*C at Gravesend, and that value will have been exceeded by a considerable amount today I reckon; Heathrow had an hourly report of 16.4*C, for example.

Only two categories are completed, with the number of days not reaching 10*C anywhere in the UK still stuck at zero but with the chance of becoming nonzero during the coming week.

At this early stage, Chiltern Blizzard and RobSnowman are tied in the lead, with ozone_aurora, Gooner and myself all very close behind. The middle of the pack sees contrasting scores for each of the two categories - it leaves me wondering who has been the most and least consistent over the past 14 months or so...

The first day not below 2.5*C was 15th March, when the lowest official temperature in the whole of the UK was 3.6*C. This happened just 3 nights after the current lowest temperature of the month was seen; -6.5*C 11th/12th March.
