Even though there is a fair amount of cloud, there is some brightness and is dry.

But, oy, what's with that Chinnook type wind last night? Had enough of that in "that" past winter, but in July? C'mon, give us a break. Still, at least it remained dry the whole night and is still feeling quite mild at 16.9 C with 81% humidity. Can't complain about poor air quality, that's for sure.

EDIT: Just popped out to collect the wheelie bin, it was fresh out there!

12C, cloudy, dry but windy.
Yesterday's weather warnings for prolonged heavy rain went wrong; it will still rain a bit later I expect.

Highs of 24C forecasted for us today... This northwesterly wind has other ideas I suspect, it's a tad on the fresh side!

A clear line splits the city and has done for past couple hours. To the west it's clear blue, to the east it grey, and under the narrow boundary line it's hazy... However from my vantage point it's clear that parts of the city are basking in sunshine lol.
It would seem it's increasingly starting break up to the east now :-)

After a beautiful day yesterday at 23 C. It's already 20 C here with no wind hot sun and deep blue sky. We are the filling in the sandwich again with a band of high cloud on both the east and NW horizons. Edinburgh is buzzing with tourists and looks stunning!

Cloudy with a twinge of brightness and is staying dry, but that strong in-your-face northerly wind just won't bugger off, the gusts are still strong enough to topple wheelie bins over. All that are having the effect of making the current temp of 15 C feel chilly and fresh.

Further proof that Kent is now officially the windiest place in the world. Anyone who has come over here for a holiday break must be wondering what the heck had happened.

Who is actually under that rain band which was supposed to be giving us torrential rain today?
It still seems completely stationary, perhaps over Hull
It's like when snow is supposed to spread from the east in winter

Very cool, if not cold, very windy and some rain. Horrible day!

Well today is as bad as it could be for my part of the country - Non stop rain of varying intensity and chilly and miserable as well.

Rain from the East two days at least as the saying goes. Tomorrow is scheduled to be almost as foul as today.

Temperature just 13C.
