Frost not forming here. Stuck on 3C since sunset, despite the clear skies, due to wind which in the past would have dropped out by now
As boring and pathetic as anticylconic gloom. Stick a thermometer on a buoy in the middle of the Atlantic and it will record more temperature variation than we get here now.
Not been below 2C since 10th November and since 8th December 2013 it's been below freezing for a total of 49.1 hours. Shocking beyond words. Even in the mildest coastal fringes of Cornwall I'd expect more than that.
A frosty, moonlit night here: -2.2C, pressure has risen to 1028mb.
