After what has been a "m'eh" type day with overcast skies and some rain (3.6 mm fell, didn't even attempt to turn to sleet over the higher elevations, according to a friend who lives at Capel, 200m ASL), the skies cleared up at dusk time to allow a bit of a colourful sunset and now it's clear and still.
I should imagine a frost will set in tonight as temperatures are already at 3.3 C under a light north westerly breeze, even though humidity levels are quite high.
