I drove through a sleet shower in the M20 between Ashford and Maidstone and observed a wet snow flake in a brief shower at Kings Hill around 1pm.
The SE'ly breeze has slowly backed easterly today..giving a drier continental feel.
I noticed a small amount of snow left on the grass and roofs at Densole (150m asl) on my drive home tonight..preserved due to the lower dewpoints.
