Looking at Global News, there appears to be snow on the ground throughout the northern hemiphere......except the UK

 

That's certainly spot on, currently in the Dolomites and it was a white out today, not a day to be out skiing but the vino rosso made up for it. Difficult to say how much snow due to the drifting, but I'd hazard a guess at 25cm with maybe 20 tomorrow. Roads are still open of course, unfortunately.

Still snowing heavily here in Folgaria, up to about 50 cm now and the temp has risen to 0c. Shame it looks like we will make it out tomorrow.
