I'm currently recording 14.8 C - which is warmer on this time yesterday here at my location and thus actually feel just that for it in the sunshine! Okay, so it's not exactly a record-breaking "el-scorchio" figure but it does show how I do tend to fare better temperature-wise than the rest of the UK on a day like today under a westerly-type airflow. That's why I loathe northern blocking-type set ups as far as my location is concerned as that usually cause the wind to come in from the southern end of the North Sea or Strait of Dover which seems to be SST "cold spots".
Alton reached 19.7'c yesterday which is the highest so far this year.....that following a frosty start at -0.2'c is pretty impressive. Indeed, it was the 5th straight frost

A warm 20c the high here in unbroken sunshine.
Struggled to get to 14.7 C today here at this end, but at least it came with clear blue skies and unbroken sunshine.
Stunning day today. Summer warmth in the sunshine and a very pleasant breeze.
