Whether Idle

Weds 15th April is going to be the hottest day of the year so far.

I predict 25.9c at Heathrow Airport will be the high.

Any one else prepared to have a stab at this one?

Striking to see dew points as low as 4 or 5*C in parts of the SE coupled with air temperatures of 22-25*C. That's some pretty dry air at play.

FWIW the car thermometer read 25.0C or 25.5C most of the way home from Sittingbourne to Leysdown, with the temperature in the last half mile of the trip falling to 23.5C.

That'd be a pretty warm day for July, let alone April!

With a NE'ly picking up tomorrow it should be 11 or 12 degrees colder.

We maxed at 21c here. This afternoon sitting in the sun for a few hours out of the breeze is the first day of the year I would decribe as uncomfortably warm. I knew I would burn after just 5 minutes of it.
