Yesterday was the sunniest day of the year with 14 hours of sunshine Almost twice as much as any other Saturday this year.

Today is the complete opposite. It is as dire as it gets. 7.1C and drizzle

Seems to have become an impossibility since the start of last year to get a completely dry weekend even with 1030mb high pressure

But indeed, a pattern change is on the cards, even though the forecast itself is still subject to further fine tunings.

Very cool here in Fulham just 8 degrees at 2pm no sun and grey cloud and bittingly cold Easterly wind. A portent of things to come from next weekend ?
