These hideous winter-like temperatures have just been relentless throughout this ghastly, horrendously unsettled month but are often not being reflected in the stats as it reached a fairly typical 14.4C this morning in hazy sunshine.

After what has been a suitably fine day with plenty of sunshine, high cloud had properly filled in the sky about an hour ago along with a bit of a breeze getting up, but it is still staying dry at the moment.
