1st. Day of June and we have  figures. Will this month show a lot more than the 20.4mm That I had in 2014....

So far  today 6.6mm has fallen...

Only 8.1mm in my back yard.... For the first TWO days.

Exactly 50mm of rain here between Friday night and Sunday afternoon, bringing our June total to 57mm so far.   Already close to 100% of the average total for June here.   

Obviously it was a different world here compared to some southern areas this weekend - judging by the rainfall figures given on this evening's Countryfile forecast!

Visited Well this morning. 0.3mm drizzle there.. Nothing ion my sensor and dry on returning to Peasedown  St John. ....

9mm here since my last post, the majority of that being from showers over the last 24hrs. Speaking as grower: a good balance here between the wet and dry spells - water butts not being needed very much but some warmth would be welcome but now I'm drifting off-topic
