It's the bloody wind direction - anything north of west feeds is showers. South of west & the Welsh mountains put us in a rain shadow.
Even after a stinking awful week it still manages to be even worse at the weekend. Wind now coming from SE which is pretty much the only alternative to NW these days
Vile, slate grey overcast following 0.6mm of drizzle. 11.9C. Looks like this weekend will see less sunshine than the winter solstice weekend which was one of the dullest of last winter. You couldn't make it up
Awful beyond words again. Give me 2012 over this. At least there was some interest with high rainfall totals instead of cloudy and very cool with drizzle day after day.
