Dull and damp.EDIT at 9.30 am: The sun's come out and thus things are all looking bright 'n' cheerful once again. Looks like the rain band had moved through quicker than I thought, although I didn't expect that much rain anyway.

The rain that threatened to put a damper on today's plans appears to be out the way.
The front moved through here between 07.30hrs and 08.30hrs with 1.2mm of rain.
The sun has returned.
Currently a cool 14.2c after falling to 13.4c in the rain.
Wind is still calm.
19c. Broken cloud .Sunny spells. Humidity 64%rh. Breeze westerly light, 7km/h.
20C Generally sunny.Humidity is starting to creep back up again after a day or so absence.
Instead of a rainy day its clear blue sky. Looking at the radar its going to stay like this all day or most of it. Not what I expected! Currently 19.4c.
Improved yesterday by afternoon to give the sunniest day since the 3rd albeit temperatures still below average and the sunshine total was less than was managed on the 24th January
Back to square one today. Absolutely putrid with a further 3.4mm of rain and horrifically cold at just 11.6C under vile depressing overast. Having to endure this crap day in day out is not living it's existing
