12°c partly cloudy, was a nice sunrise, make the most of it before the rain arrives 

Only a few spots of rain with the main bulk going north. There are some T-Storms that I'm watching heading west. A few strikes close to the tip of Cornwall just now and thunder will have been heard in Penzance.

Sunny, clear and calm, it was down to 3.8C an hour ago, which means somewhere must have had ground frost I think.

Early brightness now fading as cloud moves in from the SW. I reckon I have 3 hours to get the garden chores done before the rain arrives.

Currently 14.7c after a cool overnight low of 10.7c.

The wind that fell calm overnight has stirred to life in the form of a light to moderate SSW'ly.

Managed to sneak in a cheeky bit of sun about half an hour ago but has clouded over since then. It is dry at the moment but rain isn't too far away.
  And what's with this strong southerly wind? That, too, is being forecast but . . . in July? I get enough of that in the Autumn/Winter/Spring season as it is.  

I have a day's worth of painting to be getting on with anyway.

Overcast with a thick drizzle following overnight heavy rain. Feeling close. 13.4c in a light to mod ESE'ly. Pressure falling rapidly.

Grim, grey and depressing. Yet another poor weekend and this has been about the worst all summer. A total write-off.

Hi, Ian! Then you can watch that paint dry if we continue in this unseasonable pattern! The rain band is just arriving here as I type - again not expecting a great deal here going by the radar - just the odd light spit spot atm. The garden here could do with the 25mm you had recently! I'll get my coat 14.4 C in a moderate SE breeze.
